Hi, I'm Mike White.

I'm always learning. This site is a place for me to share as I do.

I'm a learning and performance specialist with a strong interest in software development. I work with subject matter experts to design, develop, and deliver highly effective learning experiences.

I've got a solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but I'm always looking for ways to improve. I enjoy exploring other languages and have been playing with C#, Python, and Go lately. I've been designing and building for the web since the late 90s, but I've done a lot since then.

I've been a soldier, a journalist, an adventure guide, a bell boy, a freelance developer, a designer, an illustrator, a technical writer, an instructional designer, and a business manager.

These experiences have provided me a wealth of knowledge and skills that inform my ability to help people reach their learning and performance goals, solve interesting problems, and write helpful software.

By far, the most significant thing these experiences have taught me is to love learning and love the process.

I'm a dedicated husband and a father to four wild boys.
