About Me
Hi, I'm Mike White.
I design intelligent learning systems that help professionals master high-performance skills.
This blog is where I think out loud, share what Iām building, and document the process of designing learning systems that work, especially when the stakes are high and time is short.
I'm a Learning Systems Architect with a background in instructional design, software development, and performance consulting. My work sits at the intersection of learning science, AI, and web technology. I help individuals and organizations turn invisible knowledge into visible outcomes through scalable, adaptable, and deeply human systems.
I've been writing code since the days of dial-up and still love building things with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and more recently, Python, Go, and even C. Whether Iām prototyping a new learning tool, training AI to give better feedback, or mapping out skill taxonomies, it all comes down to one goal: make mastery more achievable.
Before all this, I wore many hats: soldier, journalist, illustrator, guide, developer, designer, writer, and manager. Each role sharpened my ability to learn fast, teach clearly, and solve complex problems. That mosaic of experience now fuels the systems I build and the stories I tell.
Most importantly, I'm a husband and dad to four wild boys. They remind me daily that curiosity is contagious and learning never stops.
